VHM’S WILDMAN OF THE WEEK: ANGUS MCNEILLY/THE BROADWAY BULLIES
Whether in front of a crowd or a bartender ordering a shot of rum, THE BROADWAY BULLIES front-man ANGUS MCNEILLY exudes the type of personality that commands attention.
When Angus and the boys are in town, I caution you to lock up your daughters, wives, liquor cabinet, and any farm animals that may be on the loose, as THE BROADWAY BULLIES have arrived to tear rock a new one.
AC/DC’s Bon Scott once said that, “All the songs we do are basically about one of three things: booze, sex or rock n roll.” And this motto is one that THE BROADWAY BULLIES take to heart and to the stage every time they perform (Hell, their name itself stems not only from a brawling hockey crew, but from an infamous wasted night and “some ruckus with a hammer on some newspaper stands and new cars” on Broadway).
Rockin’ a James Dean dew and a Bon Scott scream, ANGUS MCNEILLY is rad to take-in live as his unpredictability always makes for a wicked, Did-that-just-happen?-type show.
On his way down to LA to work with Buck Cherry, Angus stopped in to chat with VANCOUVER’S HOTTEST MUSIC.

VHM: Assuming Nikki Sixx’ quote is right, that “No one gets out alive,” what do you want your headstone to read?
ANGUS MCNEILLY: “Stand back, this hot-headed son of a bitch should pop up any minute.”
VHM: Any advice for upcoming vocalists and musicians?
ANGUS MCNEILLY: Use condoms…
Thanks ANGUS!
